Valhall er Vulkan Engineerings første leveranse — FEED-en for sjøvannsbehandlingsanlegget, gjennomført i 2018 sammen med Siemens og Kvaerner. Den la grunnlaget for det Vulkan i dag kan tilby hele porteføljen.

Vulkan contributed process and seawater treatment expertise during the engineering phase of the project and has continued to build operational knowledge from the system over time. Vulkan’s knowledge of the treatment system supports the evaluation of operating performance, identification of process issues, and development of improvements when required. Operational experience from Valhall has also contributed to Vulkan’s wider understanding of how sulphate removal systems behave over long periods of offshore operation. The scope includes:
- Sulphate removal systems
- Ultrafiltration and membrane pre-treatment
- Chemical dosing
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Performance monitoring
- Lifecycle technical support
