As one of only two Norwegian companies selected as a qualified System Integrator for 3M Oxygen Removal Membranes, Vulkan Engineering operates at the frontier of offshore membrane technology.

Membrane Deaeration — 3M Liqui-Cell™

Dissolved oxygen in offshore injection water triggers biological growth, lowers pH, and accelerates corrosion of critical infrastructure. Our 3M Liqui-Cell systems eliminate dissolved oxygen to the highest purity levels required for safe reservoir injection — engineered for high flow rates and continuous offshore operation.

Ultra Filtration (Liqui-Flux™)

In partnership with 3M, Odda Plast AS, and Lørenskog Kommune, Vulkan is pioneering the offshorization of the Liqui-Flux ultra filtration membrane — inside-out filtration with cross-flow cleaning and superior efficiency across particles, bacteria, and organics.
