Lifecycle Management

Mechanical engineering — valve technologies and modular design built to your platform's exact constraints.

Supporting performance throughout the project lifecycle

Seawater treatment and process systems operate under demanding offshore conditions, where performance can gradually change due to membrane fouling, equipment wear, changing feedwater quality, chemical consumption and variations in operating conditions. Without structured lifecycle support, these changes can lead to reduced efficiency, increased maintenance, unplanned downtime and higher operating costs. Vulkan Engineering provides Lifecycle Management services to help operators maintain system performance from start-up through long-term operation. The focus is on understanding how the system is performing, identifying developing issues and implementing practical improvements that support reliable and efficient operation.

How It Works

Lifecycle Management combines operational data, engineering analysis, system inspections and process knowledge to evaluate the condition and performance of seawater treatment systems over time. Vulkan Engineering supports operators with performance monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, maintenance planning, membrane and equipment assessments, chemical optimization and recommendations for upgrades or modifications. By combining historical operating data with process engineering expertise, potential issues can be identified earlier and corrective actions can be planned before they develop into larger operational problems. Lifecycle support can be applied across Ultrafiltration, Sulphate Removal, Membrane Deaeration, chemical dosing and associated process equipment.
